The Curriculum

The D Carmelite School Curriculum is based from a learner  -centered approach which ensures age – appropriate learning activities, materials and methods that are suited to the needs and interests of the learners. It is designed to empower learners from kindergarten, grade school and junior high school and equip them with life skills so that he/she becomes a self-developed person who is God – fearing (Maka-Diyos), patriotic (Makabayan), mindful of humanity (Makatao) and respectful of nature (Makakalikasan).

The concepts and competencies are arranged in sequential and logical order for a wide range of integration of values within and across the learning areas. It likewise includes different activities that incorporate indoor and outdoor learning, socio-cultural and gender-sensitive learning experiences, and a strong partnership between school and home.
